His credo:
I am a member of the Black Division, a secret organization, with religious and political objectives. Now that Gorbatchev is in power, this organization is all the more legal : I have the right to say anything. In 1978, I was sent as an undercover agent to a group of non-figurative artists, with the mission to manipulate them. Having accomplished this, I am now being sent to a group of peasants to manipulate their educational
& cultural activities. All my previous creations had a conspiratorial aim. Hence, they imitate art. I am fond of Orthodox churches, particularly icons. I only believe in the adherence to the faith symbols of our Orthodox Church. Actually, all my works could be shown in Kunst-Kamera Museums, or in border-control locales, as examples of the smuggling morality & esthetics. (1990)

Comments:
Pierdo is his imagined country of predilection. This artist is interested by the social stereotypes, with the view to give them new meanings.
